User Management

In this article, you'll find important practical information regarding how you can manage users as an Admin in your ChargeWise workspace.

ℹ️ Please note that our dedicated Onboarding team imports all your users directly from the Charging Station Management System (CSMS) that you use. We do that for 2 particular reasons:

  1. We're CSMS-agnostic, and as such, we're integrated with any Charge Point Management System through API. This makes the onboarding and implementation easy and fast for our customers.
  2. We would like to support you as much as possible and get the job done for you so you can focus on executing the day-to-day operations of your business and let us handle the rest.

When you navigate to Users > Actions, you'll see there are the following 4 actions under this drop-down menu:

  1. BULK ACTIONS:
  • Invite All Imported = sends a direct invitation via e-mail and in-app push notification to the user. This action enables the Admin to inform the user about the Active/Upcoming Loyalty Program/s and to invite them to join in.
  • Re-invite Pending = sends a direct invitation only to users who have a status = "Invited".
  1. SELECTED USERS (you have to select a specific set of users first before you're able to perform either of the following actions):
  • Invite Selected = sends an invitation only to the selected user/s.
  • Add to User Group = adds users to the designated user group.

User Statuses:

There are 4 User Statuses in ChargeWise at the moment:

  1. Imported = when importing your users from the CSMS, they inherit the "imported" status by design.
  2. Invited = when you send an invitation to users and inform them they're invited to join your loyalty program.
  3. Active = when the user accepts your invitation and registers a new User Account in ChargeWise.
  4. Deactivated = when you deactivate a specific user from the Admin App for some reason, Fraud, i.e.

ℹ️ Please note that you can filter Users by Status, Tier, and User Group:

  1. Filtering Users by their Status:
Navigate to Users > Status > Select a status - All, Imported, Invited, Enabled or Dectivated.
  1. Filtering Users by Tier:
Navigate to Users > Tier > Select a status - All or choose a Tier.
  1. Filtering Users by User Group/s:
Navigate to Users > User Groups > Select a status - All or choose a Tier.

Adjusting Points for the User:

  1. Navigate to Users > Select a User > Scroll down to History > Click + Adjust Points:

  1. Choose + Add or - Remove option > Enter the amount of points you want to adjust > Fill in the Reason field:

  1. Click Apply to make the necessary point adjustment:

  1. Once the respective amount of points is applied, you'll see the following new record in the History section that is automatically shown:
