Can I take part in more than 1 Active Loyalty Program provided by the same Operator?
When a Member (EV Driver, user) qualifies for multiple loyalty programs simultaneously, we apply an additive calculation approach by default. By "additive calculation", we mean the following:
- Each qualifying program calculates points independently.
- Total Points awarded = the sum of all the applicable program calculations.
Here's a practical example of what that means and how it works:
I. Additive Calculation Approach ➡️ A practical example of how points are calculated when there are 2 or more Active Programs in which you can take part in simultaneously:
- Setup:
– Program A: “Standard” → 5 pts/kWh → applies to All Users
– Program B: “VIP Boost” → 15 pts/kWh → applies to VIP Group
– Alice is actively charging on the ChargeWise PRO network and has charged >800 kWh per month. Hence, she has been added to the VIP Group.
- What happens when Alice charges 10kWh:
– Program A: 10kWh × 5 = 50 pts ✓
– Program B: 10 kWH× 15 = 150 pts ✓
– TOTAL: 200 pts (50 pts + 150 pts).
In short, yes, you can take part in multiple loyalty programs as long as you qualify.
