How to Create a New Reward
One of ChargeWise's competitive advantages is that our platform integrates seamlessly with various Rewards Marketplaces through API. Having the ability to combine rewards that are offered through various marketplaces all at once enables Charge Point Operators to build up a diverse portfolio of rewards. Hence, their offering resonates more strongly and adequately with the majority of EV drivers' wants, preferences, and behavior.
In this article, you'll find all the basic information you need to configure new rewards in ChargeWise.
Please follow the steps outlined below to build up and customize your EV Charging Rewards Marketplace.
ℹ️ As a prerequisite, it's important to note that ChargeWise is integrated with 3rd-party vendor providers (we call them Reward Marketplaces) when it comes to providing the ability to our customers to customize their Rewards offerings to the EV Drivers.
Having said that, we're ONLY capable of activating the designated portfolio of rewards that is a) provided by our partner, b) is currently available for the specific market in which the operator runs their EV Charging Network.
Lastly, before creating a new reward in your ChargeWise Admin portal, the initial mandatory step is to activate and configure the integration with the specific reward marketplace of your choosing. If this is NOT done, then the "Add New Reward" button in the "Rewards" section won't be available at all:
- Log in to your ChargeWise Admin app > Navigate to Rewards > Click the + New reward button:
- Add a Reward by picking up the brands that are enabled for your market:
ℹ️ Please note that all the brands are autopopulated by the selected Marketplace vendor.
Also, you can search for available brands either by category or by typing the brand name of your preference in the designated search bar:

ℹ️ Please also note that when selecting a reward, there might be different denominations associated with it. In this particular example, the rewards are coming directly through our integration with the WOGI Marketplace and there are 2 types of denominations - Exact and Range.
- Exact— Fixed denomination. Every product under the brand is tied to a single, predetermined face value. For example, Grab $10 E-Voucher.
- Range— Variable denomination. The buyer must specify an amount within that window at order time. For example, Suki-Ya $1–$1000.
- Configure the selected Reward by selecting the applicable Tier and adding the respective Denomination > Create Reward
- Once the reward is created, it will automatically be added to the Rewards section in ChargeWise:
- In case you'd like to add another denomination (applicable when the reward's denominator is Range), then you can do so as well after the Reward was created. Click the Reward you'd like to configure > click Add Denomination from the Reward Details Screen:
- In case you'd like to remove a reward, click the Reward you'd like to configure > click Add Denomination from the Reward Details Screen:
When the reward is created, it will automatically appear in the Redeem section in the ChargeWise User app so that the EV driver will be able to redeem it when they have the required points to do so:
ℹ️ Please note that if the Reward has a TIER requirement = Diamond, for instance, then only EV Drivers who have reached this status will be able to see and redeem the reward in the User app.
