Introducing the Auto-Invite Mechanism
The Auto-invite Mechanism enables Admin Users to automatically schedule re-invites for EV drivers who were invited but never joined their Loyalty Programs.
In ChargeWise, due to security reasons, EV Drivers' invite tokens expire 7 days after they're sent. If a driver doesn't accept the invitation in time, they previously had to be re-invited by hand - slow and error-prone, especially when thousands of members are involved.
The Auto-Invite Mechanism solves this. When enabled, ChargeWise automatically re-invites drivers who are Invited but not yet Active on a weekly schedule, via email and in-app push notification - until they join or you reach your attempt cap.
Here are the steps to enable the Auto-Invite Mechanism:
Admin Owners don't have access to this setting as it is configured on a higher level by the ChargeWise team members. In case you'd like to enable it, please get in touch with your dedicated Forward Deployment Engineer or Account Manager to request that it be enabled for you.
- Once you file your request, we'll toggle the Auto re-invite on. Weekly scheduled invites will now be sent automatically to members who are already Invited but not Active.
- Set Max Auto-Invite Attempts to control how many times ChargeWise re-invites a driver:
- Enter a number (e.g. 4) â ChargeWise re-invites for 4 weeks, then stops.
- Leave it empty / Unlimited â ChargeWise keeps re-inviting indefinitely.
âšī¸ Please note:
- Only drivers with the Invited but not Active status are picked up automatically.
- Once a driver accepts the invitation and joins, they are skipped on the next round of invites - no duplicate nudges.
- Invites are sent on a weekly schedule, hands-free. There are no lists to chase or reminders to send manually.
