I couldn't Redeem a Reward. What should I do?

If you tried to redeem a reward in the ChargeWise app and it didn't work, here's a quick walkthrough to get unstuck.


1. Confirm you actually have enough points:

  • Open the app and navigate to the Redeem section. There, you'll see your current points balance that you can use for Reward redemption:

  • The ChargeWise app shows you not only how many points you have accumulated but also which specific rewards are available to you for redemption.

2. When redeeming a Reward, you can navigate to the Rewards section to view and use your Rewards.

However, if any Reward Redemptions are failing, you'll see them at the bottom of the app screen:

3. Click the Retry button, and you'll see the following message on the screen:

4. If retrying still fails, you'll see the following message on the screen:

Gift Card Order Failed. ChargeWise refunds Your Points Automatically

Please note that if, for some reason, the retry function still fails, the ChargeWise application will automatically issue a refund to you. Hence, you'll be able to see the points refunded in your Profile's History section:
